Blogger's New Word Verification

Sorry for the rant, but I figure if more people speak out about it the more likely it will change.

When it was just ONE "word" to input in order to comment, it was all fine and dandy. Put in some garbled letters, make a comment. Now?

I CANNOT READ THAT!!!
Am I alone?? It says Please Prove You Are Not a Robot!
I can't read it; I can't comment.
Does that mean I am a robot?
:(

I have disabled the word verification for my blog and for now all I can do is hope others do the same, so I can continue commenting.
I wish we could have the option of ONE word verification or the "Extra Safe" two word verification.
Rant over.
Back to regularly scheduled knitting stuff tomorrow.

  2. I saw one verificetion thingie the other day that had a monkey on one side and 4 items on the other. You had to drag one of the items (which ever it asked for) over to the monkey. That I didn't mind a bit. Even "Minnie" could enjoy that. I haven't seen this new verification thing your talking about yet but Now I can't wait to see what's going on :)

  3. It is like you read my mind, I've just been going through the FO posts and it is annoying me SO MUCH! Like you I will disable my verification. I don't think I'm a robot, I mean, I eat food and need sleep, but trying to read those codes does make me wonder!

  4. Gah!! I noticed that same thing recently! And I can never read the words, so I keep clicking the "new phrase" button until I get something that is somewhat legible. Grrr.....

  7. love your post. TOTALLY agree. I have a friend who has dyslexia and he CANNOT read those things at all. Not even the single 'words'. Surely there are other ways we can prove we're not a robot???
