Today is the day.

Hello, blog readers!
Today is a special day. It was November 5th of 2010 that I first began this blog. It was completely on a whim, and I never thought I'd keep it up, and yet here I am. In the tradition of many blogs, I will be hosting a giveaway for my one-year blogiversary!
I will be entering all the comments into a random number generator and choosing one lucky winner who will receive two prizes:
A copy of Sock Innovation by Cookie A.

...and a skein of Cascade Heritage Silk fingering weight yarn in a solid red colorway.
You can find all the statistics of the yarn here and can dig around on Ravelry to search for projects using a single skein if you are not a sock knitter.
All you have to do to be entered into this giveaway is leave a comment below. It would be helpful if you left your Ravelry ID or email address so I can contact you if you are the winner.
I will pull a name and announce winner on Saturday, November 19th
If you didn't leave any contact information, be sure you check in on that date to see if you are the winner and contact me through my email; grandmastatus (at) gmail (dot) com.
Then once I get your shipping information I can mail this little package out to you!

(If you already own Sock Innovation or way more sock yarn than you can handle don't forget that the holiday season is on its way and you might have a friend or family member that might enjoy the prize.)

Anyways, that's my post for today. The blog will still be fairly quiet for November on account if NaNoWriMo, which is going well- thanks for asking!
Oh, and this giveaway is open to residents of the Earth only.

    OH, I LOVE heritage Silk! I knitted my pattern for Sock Summit in a beautiful blue. And RED is my color! MMMMMMM. I think Cookie A's patterns are amazing...never knitted one but I love to look at them!
