Every time!

How come I knit a swatch, got perfect gauge, cast on 172 stitches, and my perfect gauge was all gone?
Same needles
same yarn
same hands
same brains

But it's like a kajillion sizes smaller than it needs to be.

    It's taken me years to figure out and account for tighter gauge on sleeves and anything small and magic loop. Body is one gauge, sleeves another. I know now though!
